All about your tooling options from S3B and how to use them

Essentially S3B Machinery supply 3 types of tooling  

• SS tooling which is for our Single Punch Press range
• S3B tooling which is for the S3B Rotary Press range and
• Euro grade tooling which is for our S3B-Euro press range

SS Tooling

• The SS-0, SS-1 and SS-1.5 use the same size centre ring (28mm).
• The SS-5 and SS-6 have their own unique size centre ring the SS-5 is 37mm and the SS-6 is 40mm.
• Punch length is 41mm across the range. 

We can supply almost any shape and logo maximum diameter of 25mm.

We keep a large stock of round 6mm, 8mm and 10mm tooling. 

For custom design tooling there is a lead time of 30 days.

S3B Tooling

The S3B Tooling will fit all S3B Rotary Tablet Presses, so you can keep using your custom design tooling if you upgrade.  This means you save new tooling costs when you scale up your business.  

S3B-Euro

S3B Euro tooling comes in 3 sub categories D, B and BB.

• D tooling is suitable for large tablets and multi tip tooling, and has a centre ring of 38mm with punches of 133.6mm.
• B tooling has a centre ring of 30mm and punches of 133.35mm and is suitable for smaller tablets up to 13mm in diameter.
• BB tooling has a centre ring of 22mm and punches of 133.6m for smaller tablets of up to 13mm in diameter.

All S3B-Euro tooling in its same sub category can be used through the S3B-Euro range. 

Capsule Filler Tooling and Plates

S3B-25C Semi automatic capsule tooling and moulds can be manufactured to any size capsule.  We find that most customers who buy the S3B-25C tend to buy a spare plate so when one plate is being filled, the other can be loaded  with capsules.  This increases efficiency and maximise the output of your capsule filling machine. 

S3B-Fully automatic capsule filler tooling and plates (400/800/1200/2500/3600/7200) can be manufactured into any size capsule (000/00/0/1/2/3/4/5) 

Blister Packing Moulds

We can manufacture moulds to accommodate any size or quantity of tablets or capsules you want to pack. 

Branding and Corporate ID

We can brand packaging to your corporate identity or supply your products in plain “white label” packs.  If you need advice on branding, ask us as we offer Startups a bespoke branding package through our trusted design partner.
