Characteristics

The SS-1 outputs 15KN of pressure which will easily press professional standard tablets. For its performance, the unit has a very compact footprint, which means that the SS-1 tablet press can be located in the corner of a clean room. Tablets can be produced to a diameter of 8mm and a thickness of 6mm, and has the ability to press shaped or even logo printed tablets. Due to the compact nature of the SS-1 desktop tablet press, and easy to clean parts, its ideal for testing multiple formulations for clinical trials.

Using your SS-1 Desktop Tablet Press

Once it is securely bolted your SS-0 to your workbench, you will need to adjust:

• Ejection height, top cog on the lower drift pin assembly
• Fill depth, bottom cog on the lower drift pin assembly
• Punch pressure, nut on the upper drift pin assembly

Its vital you do it in this order to ensure correct installation and high-quality tablets. You then simply fill the hopper with your ingredients and turn the handle, always run the machine by hand first to ensure the machine has been set up correctly, once you are confident the machine has been set up correctly,  turn the power on. The SS-1 single pill press is very easy to use and has been built to make operating the machine as simple as possible.

Warranty

1-year warranty on parts and tools, the warranty doesn’t cover human error. The warranty will end 1 year from the invoice date, all you need to do to claim your warranty is contact us and quote your invoice number.
