The past few years have seen unprecedented growth in the UK’s CBD market. Today, the UK has the largest CBD consumer market in Europe worth over £400M and expected to hit the £1bn mark by 2025.
A new contract with Holland and Barrett to meet demand from the high street, Love Hemp needed to upgrade their capsule production from manual encapsulation – fast as their manual production process was clearly not a sustainable solution for such a major retailer.
The S3B-25-C from S3B Machinery was chosen because the machine type was perfect for their existing production needs, with capability of meeting increased demand as well as offering new product development opportunities. Other S3B machines have been acquired by the customer to support their continued growth.
